Hope Community Enterprise (HCE ) recognises the practical skills that health and social
care workers need for their role where face-to-face training is required. It believes that a
blended learning approach to mandatory subjects is important to ensure staff is fully
compliant and confident in their work. A blended learning approach to your training will give
you a seamless transition in staff becoming competent in their caring and support roles. The
course content includes the following:
• Moving and Handling
• Medication
• Safeguarding Adults
• Infection Control
• Food Hygiene
• Fire Safety
• First Aid
The course will be available online and practical training placement at Nursing Homes. On
successful completion of the course assessments, a Certificate will be issued at £30 with
