Small Adult or Teen Required!

Apollo (Polly) is my 12 year old daughters pony. He’s approximately 8 years old. What he lacks in size he more than makes up for in spirit. He is a fiesty little pocket rocket who absolutely loves his job and is always on the go. Unfortunately she is outgrowing him and has started to focus on her energy more into bringing on her new horse.

He is a great little show jumper and has jumped over 90cm in the school. He loves cross country and will lead the bigger horses over logs as big as himself. His real passion is Hunting! He is the fastest and bravest pony on the field. He has done a bit of showing but lets himself down in a line up as he doesn’t like to stand still. He really has been the best pony in the world. He has taught my kids so many valuable lessons in horsemanship and if he was a little bigger she would have kept him to herself forever!

He’s a quirky little character with so much personality. He loves to lay down and snuggle in his stable and once he trusts you he’s like a puppy. He is extremely brave and forward on a hack. He will happily hack alone or in a group but he likes to lead and makes his opinion known.

He can be a bit nervous around new people but he soon gets over himself. He can play silly beggars in the field sometimes when he’s running with his friends so occasionally needs a bribe to be caught.

Apollo needs a small confident rider to match his big energy. He is not a plod along riding school pony! He is well mannered and kind natured but very forward which is too much for most young children. Ideally he needs a small competent adult or teenager looking to have a bit of fun.
