Part time Volunteer Drivers needed

At Burghfield & Mortimer Volunteer Bureau we’re always in need of more drivers and it's a great way to give a bit back to this lovely community at times to suit you - it doesn't affect your car insurance as it's covered under 'Social, Domestic & Pleasure', and you get a mileage allowance. It doesn't have to be a set day or time, and you can choose whether or not to take on a particular journey.

We take people from the Mortimer, Burghfield and surrounding villages to and from medical and dental appointments - doctors, dentists, opticians, hospitals, clinics, scans, blood tests and basically anything medical - just asking for a small donation. Although the majority of trips are in the local area, we can sometimes take residents to medical appointments as far afield as Basingstoke, Swindon, Oxford, Windsor, Frimley Park and beyond.

So if you have a roadworthy car and a few hours to spare Monday to Friday daytimes please get in touch - we’re very grateful for any time you can give us.
