Domiciliary Home Care Worker
We are looking for caring, reliable, and compassionate individuals to join our team as Domiciliary Home Care Workers. In this rewarding role, you will provide personalised support to people in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
You will support a range of clients, including older adults, individuals living with disabilities, and those requiring specialist dementia or Alzheimer's care. What You'll Be Doing
As a Home Care Worker, you will provide tailored support based on each client's individual needs, which may include:
Assisting with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Supporting clients with mobility and helping them move safely around their home
Assisting with medication in line with care plans and prescribed instructions
Preparing nutritious meals that meet individual dietary requirements
Helping with light household duties, including cleaning and laundry
Accompanying or driving clients to appointments, social activities, or community outings
Providing companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing
Monitoring clients' wellbeing and reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Maintaining accurate and confidential care records
What We're Looking For
We're seeking individuals who are kind, patient, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Essential:
A valid driving licence
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A caring and compassionate approach
Reliability and a willingness to support others
Desirable:
Previous experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or a similar setting
Experience with meal preparation and medication support
Working Hours
We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer flexible working patterns. Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, depending on client needs. Available hours and preferred working patterns can be discussed during the interview process.
