LARGE VINTAGE PALE CREAM / OYSTER TRADITIONAL LINED LAMPSHADE WITH FRINGED BRAID TRIM FOR FLOOR STANDARD LAMP. LAMP CARRIER INCLUDED. USED. COTTAGECORE

The pale cream cum oyster coloured outer fabric of this large elegant lampshade is beautifully offset by the contrasting fringed braid trim all around its bottom edge and its complementary pale internal lining. Together these create a warm ambiance from a soft diffused light, which is perfect for sitting rooms, bedrooms or reading nooks.

Its attractive shape is a timeless design, which would look lovely in any traditional environment. This shade is particularly appropriate for those interested in the cottagecore home decor trend.

I’m not sure whether the fabric of this lampshade is silk or faux silk. However, this classic handmade vintage lampshade is clearly a good quality item.

The shade has a robust white metal frame, and its original white metal lampshade carrier for fitting the shade onto a floor standard lamp is included.

Dimensions: approximately 51 cm base diameter x 29 cm top diameter x 38 cm high.

This lampshade has been well looked after so it has no tears or repairs. However, as is to be expected given this is an authentic vintage piece, there are some small age related marks on the fabric and patches of bare metal where the white paint has been rubbed away from the exposed metal ring on the top of the lampshade’s inner frame.
