Full or part-time position available.
Involved with a number of companies including property management and the park home leisure industry. All aspects of bookkeeping including VAT, PAYE, Companies House and HMRC on-line submissions.
A good knowledge of Sage Line 50 is essential.
Using Sage 50 for the role will include:
• Sales ledger and purchase ledger
• Input recharging utilities to tenants
• Credit control
• Making supplier payments
• Account reconciliation
• Bank reconciliations
• Journals
• Cash flow forecast
• Payroll and pension administration
• Update and maintain financial reports for management information
• Answering the telephone
• Carrying out any other tasks as requested by colleagues and management and the willingness to turn your hand to ad hoc tasks as requested.
In addition to the production and maintenance of the financial records within Sage, there is the need to be proficient in the use of Excel to both import and extract data from the accounting records. A good knowledge of Outlook and Word is also a minimum requirement for this role.
Accuracy and attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to work methodically and understand how to effectively priorities the workload. Flexibility to work on a number of companies simultaneously is also necessary.
