Very safe schoolmaster point-to-pointer. Won a race with a true amateur teenage girl in her first season. As he was such a gentleman taking care of his jockey, home is more important than price.
Very polite and easy to handle and a kind person in the stable. He is quite sensitive natured, but he wants to please you.
Good to clip, load, travel, shoe and catch. He has a very soft mouth. Very well behaved in the arena. He is green, but capable, he naturally offers an outline and has three rhythmical paces. He is more whoa than go. He has seen and jumped coloured poles, jumped through a grid and single fences and seen fillers. He shows lots of scope over a fence.
He is a very good boy to take out totally on my own, I can load him, put jumps out and get on and off several times with no issues. I never feel worried at being alone. No one has ever come off him, he was the yard hang-over horse when in training!
He hacks happily in company and does hack alone, but is more spooky- he needs a confident but soft rider to hold his hand. He doesn’t like high-sided or farm traffic. Not at all silly in wide open spaces and doesn’t get buzzy, he used to train on a beach.
Has hunted with the Blackmore and Sparkford Vale and was mannerly.
He could go on to turn his hoof to many jobs, dressage, event, team chase, hunt etc.
He does windsuck at feed times but the more turnout he has, the less he does it.
He had a ligament snip operation for kissing spine August 2025 and has done all the rehab required and is sound, jumping and schooling. Open to vet.
(I am a groom for his family, and on my own 99% of the time, so though I don't have many photos, I have some videos taken from a tripod.)
