Koora's Celestial Charm, known at home as Lux, is a July 2024 gelding expected to mature around 17.2hh. He combines proven eventing, showjumping and dressage bloodlines with the substance and temperament of his Irish Draught dam line.

Only offered for sale as we are retaining his full sister.

Lux is by homebred Koora's Inamorato (Forinth × Graphic Flare/Grannex) and out of Class A Irish Draught mare Tara Na Ri (Flagmount King × Kilbrack Kelly).

His dam's immediate family has an excellent performance record. Tara is a full sister to 1.20m showjumper Baytona Beach and maternal sister to Grantstown Ranger, who competed to CIC2* eventing and PSG/Inter I dressage.

Tara's sire Flagmount King, by the legendary King of Diamonds, was himself a successful international showjumper.

On the sire's side, Lux's grandsire Forinth successfully combined careers in showjumping and eventing, competing to 1.45m showjumping and Advanced eventing. Lux's paternal granddam Graphic Flare is a maternal sister to former licensed stallion Vorvashill Vertigo, BEF Futurity Eventing 2-Year-Old Champion, who went on to win at BE100 before a successful move into dressage.

About Lux

Lux is a big, attractive, friendly young horse with plenty of presence, who has deliberately been allowed to grow up naturally. He has lived out year-round in a herd and remains completely unspoilt.

He is friendly and well handled, has regular farrier attention and is fully vaccinated to date.

With performance horses close throughout both sides of his pedigree, should make a very exciting prospect for eventing, dressage or showjumping, while having the temperament and versatility to make a top-class all-round horse.

One of the advantages of buying Lux is that his sire, dam and paternal granddam can all be seen here, alongside his full sibling and two paternal half-siblings (2026 colt foal also available at weaning).
