Calvin was sold within 24 hours of being advertised previously, but unfortunately, the buyers' house sale fell through and they had to withdraw from the sale. Through no fault of Calvin's, he's now looking for his next person ❤️
We've had Calvin since he was a yearling, and he's Savannah (my daughters) horse. He really is the sweetest guy. He's currently standing at 15hh and is still bum high, so has plenty of filling out and maturing left to do.
He's the most laid-back, easy-going lad who never puts a hoof wrong. He's been extremely well handled, and we've done all his groundwork with him. He was lightly backed this summer and accepted absolutely everything in true Calvin fashion, with no fuss and always trying his best.
He's been walked out for miles on the long reins, happily wears full tack, and has been sat on and ridden round in walk.
Calvin is fantastic to do in all ways. He has no vices, loads himself onto the horsebox, is happy living in or out and gets on well with everything. He's good for the farrier and is so quiet and easy to handle that he can be led by children. He's the sort of horse that's a pleasure to have around, with a temperament that's hard to find.
The plan was always to leave him to mature and fill out a bit more before getting him riding away properly next year, but unfortunately, Savannah's circumstances have changed as she's now away at racing college.
Calvin is pretty much a blank canvas, ready for someone to continue his education and put their own stamp on him. With his lovely temperament and genuine attitude, he's going to make someone a fantastic all-rounder and, hopefully, a best friend for life.
He's a very genuine, kind young horse with the sweetest personality. He's been a pleasure to own and bring on, and we'd love to find him a home where he can continue to grow and reach his full potential.
A genuine horse of a lifetime for someone looking for a kind, easy-going youngster to bring on and enjoy. ❤️
Open to vetting. A genuine home is a priority for this lovely lad.
