This is an honest and slightly reluctant advert. He has mainly been a companion with us as we no longer have a jockey for him, but unfortunately we have now lost our grazing and need to find him a new home.
He hasn't been ridden for approx 6 months when he went away for schooling for 4 weeks, so he isn't being sold as something you can just get straight on and go with, although wouldn't take much to bring back into work. When in work, he goes first or last and is really good in traffic.
Good to load and good with farrier.
He does have his quirks. He can be difficult to catch until he gets to know and trust you, and he can be sharp with a small rider. If he feels his jockey isn't confident, he does get quicker, so he is not a first ridden pony and I don't want to misrepresent him as one.
With the right knowledgeable person, I think there is a lovely little pony there who would benefit massively from having a purpose, consistent handling and a job to do. He would be more suited to a lead rein home initially or an experienced home willing to bring him back into work.
He is currently living out happily on his own.
Absolutely no interest in hiding his quirks just to sell him. His next home needs to be the right one.
We do not have an arena anymore I'm afraid and he is currently in his winter woolies.
I do have videos and more photos that I can send but I'm not sure how to upload them on here, I don't have a YouTube account.
