"Bonny" Coloured Mare Pony Club Pony

12.2hh 8 year old mare looking for her next partner in crime for adventures.

We have had her for 4 years - my daughter started riding her on the lead rein and now she is cantering her off the lead rein out hacking. However, she is really a second pony rather than a first.

Bonny is the sweetest pony on the ground, great to clip, shoe, groom, catch, box etc. Never mareish, her behaviour doesn’t change whether in season or not. She is a fun, forward going ride and can be cheeky if allowed to get away with it. She has beautiful paces and could show well, although this isn’t something we have done with her. She can pop a jump quite happily with plenty of scope to do more. We have mainly hacked with her and she easily keeps up with my 15.2hh - no waiting around for her to catch up. She is great on the road, not a lot fazes her. She will go first or last.

Has hunted on the lead rein, perfect with hounds and stood nicely at the meet and during the day but was understandably strong on lead rein. She is green in the school so this will need working on.

She currently lives out although can be stabled. She can be left on her own whilst her friends are out and about with no problem.

Never had laminitis although does need restricted grazing as she lives on fresh air.

Up to date with teeth, vaccinations, farrier and physio. Saddle fit was checked 6 months ago. Respects electric fence.

We will be very sad to see her go but my daughter has lost interest and we don’t want to see her wasted - she is a lot of fun!
