"Bandit" Piebald Gelding Lead Rein/First Ridden Pony

Beautiful traditional cob gelding, 12hh, 4 years old, looking for a knowledgeable home to continue his education.

Bandit is an incredibly kind little pony with a lovely character and a huge amount to offer the right home. I have owned him for a year after purchasing him with next to no handling and he has come an enormous way.

He has been back by me and professionally worked with and is now riding away in walk, trot and canter. He has hacked both alone and in company and has been exposed to normal hacking situations including off our yard with a motorway roundabout next door. In company recently he was an absolute superstar and was excellent with gates.

He is still a young, green pony and is not being sold as a finished product. He can initially be unsure but never nasty and benefits enormously from consistency, reassurance and a relationship with his handler. Once settled and confident, he shows what an exceptionally sweet and willing little pony he is.

He is currently continuing his education with groundwork and ridden work.

I have some outstanding genuine videos of him settled in his home environment, including handling and ridden footage, which demonstrate the kind, safe and willing pony underneath the baby/green moments.

He has been handled by children with adults present, but because he is only four and still green, I am looking for an experienced adult/knowledgeable family to continue his education rather than selling him as a ready-made child’s pony.

He would suit someone looking for a quality young traditional who wants to put their own stamp on a pony with bags of character and potential.

He has lovely traditional type and dripping in mane and feather and could make a fantastic family pony/all-rounder with continued education. SD Cobs are world renowned for their temperament.
