"Angus The First" Bay Gelding Cob/Heavy Horse

Angus is a gentle giant who has been there and done it all. He is a soppy boy who just wants to have fun!

He is my father’s horse who is in his 50s and is a complete novice and has a lot of fun on him. I have jumped him 1m but not for awhile so I’d say he’d be happy and compatible with low jumping & hacking with potential of going further if someone puts the time into him.

He used to be a hunter before we got him so has definitely has the motivation for it all, he’s happy to be clipped, bathed, good for farrier & happy to travel.

No vices. We live next to a main road & he has been around farm machinery so isn’t fased by anything. Has also been around dogs & other animals + children. 10 year old kids have ridden him and has looked after them - he knows who is on his back.

A special home is far more important to us than the price.

Don’t be fooled by his age he’s got plenty of life still in him & much more to show for himself. Happy to live in or out- currently is turned out with my 4 year old gelding and they get along fine.

Perfect for a mother- daughter share, a novice or someone who wants to do a bit of everything. He’s one special horse and this is a very very hard sale.
