Wondervan! Toyota Alphard

An amazingly smooth ride in what we call 'The Mothership'. We bought this beautiful van to convert to a camper but changed our plans. It became used as our mobile base for camping trips as well as ferrying our kids to and fro.

Full of the usual over-engineered features you'd expect from Toyota - two sunroofs, automatic sliding doors on both sides, two screens and two DVD players (!), the seats can be folded away or spun round to face the rear.

The engine runs perfectly - and is perfect for motorway coasting or swift bursts of 'oomphf' when you need it.

This has been a much-loved member of the family but circumstances now mean we have to say 'goodbye'. As you'd expect from a 21 year-old vehicle, there are a few dints and scratches - all easily rectified. The chassis is sound and rust-free and mechanically she is solid, having just breezed through another MOT.
