White Ensign Models - 'HMS Hood' 1941.

This is an extremely rare 1:350 scale resin full-hull model kit of the RN battlecruiser HMS Hood in her final likeness in 1941, on her last sortie. Superbly cast and detailed resin hull, and individually packed associated resin and brass rod parts. These kits were originally produced, manufactured and distributed in the UK, for worldwide distribution, by cottage industry manufacturer White Ensign models. Only about 1000 of these kits period were ever produced for world-wide distribution, and they came as either the 'full-hull', or the less expensive 'waterline' version. NOTE: The images of a completed model are for illustration only, but the imagination will probably do the rest! It is as new and not started. Complete with its original box, plus full instructions and 3 sheets of photo-etch brass. Quite simply, this is a true 'once in a blue' opportunity for the advanced modeller.
