Selling my 2009 Volvo S40 1.6 petrol in blue. It has only had 2 former keepers and currently has MOT until February 2027.
The car has been in the family for around 15 years, so it has been very well looked after throughout its time with us. There is no paperwork service history with the car, but it has always been serviced and maintained as needed and has never been neglected.
For a car of this age, the mileage is particularly low at just 41,962 miles, and it drives really nicely. Volvos are well known for being solid, well-built and reliable cars, and this one is no exception.
There are a few things worth mentioning so everything is clear:
* Some minor paint peeling on the boot lid.
* The boot lid actuators/struts aren’t working properly, although this doesn’t stop the boot being used.
* The rear parking sensors no longer beep.
* The driver’s front tyre appears to have a slow puncture. The car has been sitting on the driveway for a while and the tyre has gradually lost pressure.
These are reflected in the price and I’ve listed everything I’m aware of rather than hiding anything.
Genuine reason for sale as I’ve bought another car.
Overall, it’s a lovely, low-mileage Volvo that still drives very well and has clearly been looked after over the years. A genuine example of an older car with unusually low mileage.
Viewing welcome. Any questions, please feel free to ask.
