Vintage Willow Laundry hamper 'London Linen' storage chest

Industrial willow Laundry hamper originally used by the London Linen Supply Ltd. This is a heavy duty piece of British Commercial history once used for delivery high quality linen to London't top restaurants and hotels.

Hand stencilled with London Linen and 1.77 on the side.

Has the original wooden runners (skids) on the base providing excellent floor protection and structural stability.

The lid is secured with traditional leather 'stitching' hinges.

Perfect for use as toy or log storage or maybe put glass ontop for a table.

The laundry basket is worn and the original leather straps have torn off but the original buckles are still intact.
