Friday-ad is brilliant
I always try Friday-Ad first for selling things locally. I use the free service and have had a lot of success - not 100% but I feel sure that is simply because sometimes nobody wants what I'm selling!

It’s very easy to place an ad here. Take a few pictures and write a succinct description and you’re off. I sold a cot to a local buyer within a short space of time. Easy to use email communication. I think it’s a great way to sell unwanted items.
