Originally a Cat S with rear end damage, it was handed over to the highly skilled team at Old School Metals. They removed the damaged rear section and rebuilt it their way – with an angle grinder, ingenuity and a lot of metalwork – to create an open back, load ready Jimny that looks like nothing else and is built to graft. Take it up onto the Sussex Downs, cruise it down Kings Road, pull up outside your favourite local, or send it straight into the nearest muddy track. With a proper 4x4 system, this isn’t some pretend “lifestyle” SUV; it will happily go where the shiny stuff gives up.
