Pay: £14.80 per hour
Hours:
• Term-time: 4 hours per week (1 visit)
• School holidays: 8 hours per week (split over 2 visits)

About the Role
We are looking for a kind, reliable and engaging Personal Assistant to support an 8-year-old child, Logan, who has a learning disability.

The role will involve supporting Logan both at home and out in the local community around Guildford. This support will also provide the opportunity for Dad to spend focused time with Logan’s siblings.

About Logan
Logan is a happy, sociable child who enjoys:
• Being outdoors and exploring new places
• Dancing and listening to music
• Playing with his toys
• Interactive play and engagement with others
He enjoys meeting new people and interacts well with his siblings. Logan is independent with feeding but may occasionally need gentle guidance.

Main Duties
• Supporting Logan during outings in the community (e.g. parks, activities, local venues)
• Providing supervision and support at home
• Encouraging play, interaction and engagement through activities Logan enjoys
• Supporting Logan’s independence where appropriate
• Ensuring Logan’s safety and wellbeing at all times

About You
The ideal candidate will be:
• Friendly, patient and supportive
• Energetic and happy to engage in play and activities
• Able to follow Logan’s lead and support his interests
• Reliable and punctual
• Experience working with children or individuals with additional needs is desirable, but not essential
