About the Role
We are looking for a caring, reliable and proactive Personal Assistant to support Darcy, a delightful 11-year-old autistic girl, in her family home.
This role involves providing supervision, encouragement and practical support while helping Darcy enjoy activities, play and daily routines. The ideal candidate will be patient, engaging and confident working independently to create a positive and supportive environment.

Main Duties
• Assist with personal care, including toileting and hygiene support.
• Monitor and supervise Darcy during play and activities at home.
• Encourage interaction and engagement through games and activities that match her interests.
• Support daily routines and help with transitions between activities.
• Promote Darcy's independence wherever appropriate.
• Ensure Darcy's safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Build a positive and trusting relationship with Darcy and her family.

Essential:
• Experience supporting autistic children or young people.
• Patient, kind and empathetic approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use initiative and independently engage Darcy in activities.
• Flexible and adaptable to Darcy's individual needs.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
