The main focus of this role is helping Edward access and enjoy activities in the community. You will support him to take part in his favourite outings and interests while providing reassurance, structure and encouragement in a calm and patient manner.

Edward enjoys a range of activities, including:
• Swimming
• Train trips
• Theme parks
• Community outings and adventures
He benefits from support from someone who understands autism and ADHD and can help him navigate new situations while ensuring he feels safe, engaged and supported.

Main Duties
• Accompany Edward on trips and activities in the local community and further afield
• Support him to participate in his favourite hobbies and interests
• Promote independence, confidence and positive experiences
• Provide consistent, calm and patient support tailored to his individual needs
• Ensure his safety and wellbeing during outings

About You
The ideal applicant will:
• Have experience supporting children with autism, ADHD or other neurodevelopmental conditions
• Be calm, patient and understanding
• Be confident supporting children in community settings
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle
• Have a positive and proactive approach

Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential. A willingness to learn and a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs are equally important.
