Stunning TD5 Defender 110 / New MOT

A Stunning Example of a classic 1999TD5 County in lovely Caledonian Blue paintwork.

She has just undergone a three month renovation and is now in A1 order.

Engine starts first turn never uses any oil or water and is currently getting a checked 32 miles per gallon.

Great gearbox and clutch.

Apparently ,she had a complete engine rebuild which was undertaken ,by the owner prior to the Gentleman that I purchased it from ,and I am in the process of getting this .

All transmission and undercarriage checked and parts replaced where needed.

This Defender has an expensive rear spare wheel out rigger ‘set up ‘the rear of the car, supports the weight of the wheel, not the rear door.

She has original factory sidesteps which are apparently quite rare.

Also a bespoke Centre council flap and tray handmade by Master craftsman in solid .

Original Defender passenger floor Matt in good condition.

So to conclude.

A very desirable and best Engine variant for the Defender,the TD5 .A classic 110 Defender County now ready to rock ‘n’ roll.

The rear passenger doors and the nearside front door have all been completely rebuilt using original newly purchased Land Rover rails all professionally welded primed re-sprayed and rust protected.

The rear door is new and has a new lock and new barrel and keys all round.

The car is fitted with an alarm system in good working order.

I do have a set of ball bars which are removed as I prefer the car without them, but they can go with the car free of charge. Very easy to fit here is a list of works just carried out.

1. New front driveshaft with two new universal joints.

2. New rear half shaft shafts fitted x 2,with new flanges and gaskets.

3. Great chassis ,power washed down and then protective Lano guard anticorrosion treatment applied.

4. New rear door and lock with new replacement barrel and key..

5. Two rear passenger doors completely rebuilt with all new structural rails from Land Rover professionally welded all repairs done and re-sprayed and Lanoguarded.

6. Nearside front passenger door completely rebuilt with new structural rails professionally welded edge primed and re-sprayed and then Lano -guarded.

7. New rear full length boot mat in checker pattern.

8. You Land Rover classic chrome radio aerial fitted.

9. Safari nearside upper skylight rubber surround gasket replaced.

10. New,sunroof rubber and surround sunroof frame relaid onto roof.

11. New key barrels all round with keys to new door handles.

12. New front windscreen fitted ,’green tint’and new rubber gasket surround.

13. Bodywork and restored doors, etc, re-sprayed where needed and attention to all detail work undertaken.

14. New oil in front and back differentials.

15. New front bumper.

16. New door hinges all round.

These Defender 110 county’s ,are going up in value fast.
