Third Sunday 20 September, 18 October & 15 November 2026
Join me on Sunday, 2.00–3.00 pm
Five Ashes Village Hall – Rowan Hall
This focused workshop is open to both current students and complete beginners who would like to learn Standing Meditation properly and safely.
Standing Meditation, also known as Wuji standing, may look simple. Yet within that stillness lies profound training for the body and mind.
In this one-hour session, you will learn how to:
Align the spine and joints correctly
Release unnecessary tension
Breathe more deeply and naturally
Root through the feet for stability
Calm mental chatter
How Standing Meditation Can Help You
With regular practice, standing meditation can:
Reduce stress and anxiety by calming the nervous system
Improve posture and joint alignment
Increase balance and stability
Build quiet internal strength
Enhance focus and mental clarity
Support better sleep and emotional regulation
When the body is aligned and relaxed, energy flows more freely.
When the breath settles, the mind becomes steady.
When the mind is steady, clarity follows.
This workshop is ideal for those who wish to:
Strengthen their foundation
Deepen internal awareness
Learn a practical meditation they can integrate into daily life
Begin or refine their Tai Chi journey from the root
You do not need prior experience.
You only need curiosity and the willingness to stand, breathe, and explore.
