Ideal Young teen / childrens low level pony/ inbetween horse. Mothers dream
To stay at current yard, no exceptions! I owe this horse a soft landing and to live in comfort for the rest of her life.
She is generally an angel but she is a big girl and can throw her weight around, so no super young kids unsupervised
Ideally i am looking for people to come up 1x a day, of course not doable for everyone but full livery comes at extra cost. I’m hopefully going Uni next September so full time would start then / trial period over the summer. Loaner would be partially responsible for livery, fully responsible for hay, and bedding costs, as well as all the care, mucking out, poo picking, grooming etc. I will continue to pay and be responsible for vet, farrier and dentist etc.
Would easily nanny kids round a hunt field, enjoys jumping with other horses. Loves fun, loves a gallop, loves hacking, will go out alone but can be nappy if she thinks she can get away with it so rider suitability is important. Has done RDA, i think a physically impared person could possibly get on well with her, as she is responsive but not sharp?
I can’t comment on the enthusiasm showjumping lol, prefers having a friend to make it more exciting. Excellent hacker, the hacking round here is top class. 4 wheel drive kind of cob never loses her feet on any surface. Great nanny pony, not overly excitable in company (but does occasionally love a race!) will do lead rein / total novice rides but I’m looking for someone who can fufill her a little more than endless trotting round the ring, rather take her to the odd funride / dressage test / showjumping, and school her with some serious hacking. Equally I am very happy to find someone who will grow into her.. the right rider is essential
A leg on, not sharp ride, but NOT a thump ride! She is schooled pretty well, Leg yields, Turn on the forehands, Shoulder in, walk to canter, stop to canter, medium walk.. Yada yada. If you’re with it, so is she! Scored 65.6 unaff dressage. Haven’t competed her above 60, could do a 70/75 course as we do at home, but in her best interest i wouldn’t consistently jump any higher.. could pop the odd 80/90 at home for practice, but never a whole course. A horse you feel safe on, but can still have fun on.
Would suit anyone ready to graduate the riding school. A great teacher, a horse you can learn from and with. Adjusts rider to rider.
More detail over messages. no visible issues other than a very old torn hamstring you can barely see, doesn’t affect movement. Clipped and in work but not competition fit right now, so whenever you start you can begin building her up again, go competing this summer!
Phone calls less desirable as it’s exam season so i may miss it. WhatsApp or message on here is preferable. Any and all questions allowed!
