This pretty matching pair of handmade side tables would be a stylish and very useful addition to any home.
These versatile original pieces from the late 20th century could be used in numerous places as side tables, bedside tables, lamp tables, and plant stands, or in the garden – providing they are not left uncovered in wet weather.
Their small square shape means they can tuck neatly into awkward spaces, or be used where there is limited room. Size: approximately 50 cm high x 34 cm wide x 34 cm deep.
Made from wicker rattan and bamboo in China these attractive two-tiered tables have woven tops featuring a central diamond design, with decorative lattice crisscross detailing underneath, and a handy storage shelf.
Both tables have been spray painted in a classic soft sea green, which would blend in beautifully with many different colour schemes. However, you could easily repaint them in another colour should you so wish.
As is to be expected with vintage items, the tables are showing some signs of wear – including a few small areas where the surface paint has been rubbed away. On one of the tables a strand in the decorative crisscross lattice is missing and strands nearby have been glued.
However, the tables are in very good condition for their age as since being originally purchased they have only been subject to very occasional light use in a guest bedroom. The bamboo frames are strong.
Please refer to the photographs provided to make your own assessment regarding their condition.
This private sale is from a smoke and pet free home. These useful tables are only being offered for sale as additional space is now required.
