A superb and very scarce 1980 Longines all 9ct solid gold wristwatch. Automatic 25 jewel (self-winding) movement, Calendar, with rapid date change function. Champagne gold sunburst dial, with black Roman numeral hour markers. The sapphire crystal is flawless, with no marks. Cabochon jewel set crown. All setting and working perfectly. Dimensions: Width: 35mm. Height: (lug to lug) 41mm. Depth: 6mm. It has been very well cared for and properly serviced, and is in wonderful condition throughout. Right from the outset in 1979, this particular model was a real innovation, as it was then the thinnest automatic watch in the world! Complete with genuine Longines gold plated tang buckle, and new leather strap. Looks and feels like a watch that is 44 days old, let alone 44 years old.
