As written by her…

“My disability is Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), which is a connective tissue disorder that causes very flexible joints, stretchy skin, autonomic dysfunction and dysmotility throughout my digestive system. I am also autistic and have ADHD.

These affect many areas of my life, including in social situations, coping with change, pain and fatigue, and mean that I need support to live independently. However, I am also a determined and hardworking student, who enjoys studying a subject I am incredibly passionate about.

I am also a creative person who loves being in nature and going on new adventures. I value inclusivity, especially surrounding autism acceptance, disability and the LGBTQ+ community. In my free time I enjoy crafting (like embroidery and painting), hanging out with my friends and listening to audiobooks/ podcasts.”
