Jessica- For full loan

Due to increasing work and family commitments, I am looking for the right person to take Jess on a full loan. I have owned her since she was 4 years old, and this is not a decision I have made lightly. Unfortunately, I can no longer give her the time and commitment she deserves, so I am looking for someone who will enjoy her, continue her education, and help her reach her full potential.

Jess is a forward-going mare, so she is best suited to a confident and capable rider. She hacks happily both alone and in company and is unfazed by traffic, including HGVs. She is sensible out hacking and has experience with dogs, busy roads, and other everyday situations.

She has previously been cross-country, which she thoroughly enjoyed and showed a real talent for. Her flatwork would benefit from further schooling, as this has not been a major focus for us—I have always preferred hacking. As she is currently living out in the field, she would suit someone with the time and enthusiasm to bring her back into regular work and enjoy a variety of activities with her.

Like many horses, Jess can occasionally have the odd playful moment, such as throwing her head up when keen to move forward or offering a small bunny hop. However, she is not dangerous and is an enjoyable horse for the right person.

The successful loaner will be fully responsible for Jess’s day-to-day care and welfare, including routine costs such as farrier visits, worming, and dental care. A full loan agreement will be in place to ensure Jess’s welfare is protected.

The right home is far more important than a quick decision, and I am looking for someone who will love and care for Jess as much as I have.
