Our client operates a reputable company based in East Sussex. They have exciting opportunity for HGV 1 Driver to join their busy company. This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate.

Main Duties
• Deliver and collect an array of goods on pallets safely and intact within a timely manner
• Responsible for managing your own working time directive, walk-around check before each journey commences and the condition of your vehicle with any necessary reporting
• Communicate effectively to both customers and management
• Deliveries and collections within the East Sussex areas
• Must be able to manage curtain sliders
• Use pump truck
• Must carry out all delivery safety regulations
• Ensuring all goods are strapped and goods are secured
• Must be able to carry out manual handling
• Must be able to follow route planner
Qualification’s Skills and Experience
• Must HGV Class 1 licence (with no more than 6 points on licence)
• Delivery and Collection of pallets would be an advantage
• Must have 6 months + commercial driving experience
• Be physically fit
Working Hours
• Working 8 to12 hour shift patterns
• Mondays to Fridays
• Starting time usually 08.00am
