To measure parts of buildings or trees upto about 8.0 metres from ground. For example, gutters or windows.
The height readout is at a convenient height to view.
The top section has bracket to hook over a feature, say edge of gutter or window cill, or can be pushed up against a feature, say fascia.
Five separate sections pull out independently and are locked with knobs. The height readout shows the height to top of unit, no matter how many or how far individual sections are extended.
Minimum height about 1.5m.
Could be used horizontally, say to measure an opening, or distance between objects.
