Job Title: Groundsman / Gardener
Private Estate – Sussex
Seeking an experienced and motivated Groundsman / Gardener to join the team on a well-established private estate in Sussex. This is a full-time, or part-time permanent position offering excellent pay and conditions within a professional yet friendly estate environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Day-to-day maintenance of estate grounds and gardens
• Grass cutting, strimming, and general lawn care
• Hedge cutting and pruning
• Fencing repairs and general estate maintenance
• Seasonal gardening and planting duties
• Operation and basic maintenance of estate machinery and tools
Skills & Experience
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, or estate work preferred
• Tractor driving experience is an advantage but not essential
• Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team
• Reliable, conscientious, and takes pride in high standards of work
