2018 ELDDIS AVANTE GTS 840 – 6 BERTH, 8FT WIDE, TWIN AXLE

Excellent-condition 2018 Elddis Avante GTS 840 dealer-special model, being sold as a comprehensive ready-to-tour package including 4-wheel-drive motor mover, solar panel, 2025 Vango Tuscany 500 AirBeam awning, AL-KO security equipment, water/waste equipment and many other accessories.

We purchased the caravan from Newport Caravans in 2024, who originally supplied it when new. It has been serviced and damp-checked annually by Newport Caravans throughout our ownership.

Selling simply because our children’s increasingly busy schedules mean we aren’t getting enough opportunities to use it.

LAYOUT & ACCOMMODATION

The Avante 840 is an 8ft-wide, twin-axle, 6-berth family caravan.

The additional width creates a noticeably spacious interior, while the layout avoids floor-to-ceiling furniture dividing the main living area. This gives an unusually open and airy feel from the large front lounge through the central living area.

Accommodation includes:

* Large parallel front lounge, converting to a double bed

* Separate three-sided side dinette, converting to additional sleeping accommodation

* Brand-new Duvalay mattress fitted in 2026

The three-sided dinette is particularly practical for families. Our three children comfortably sit around it, allowing the front lounge and its pull-out table to remain available without needing to set up the large dining table for everyday meals.

There is currently an HDMI monitor mounted in the bedroom which can be left in place if wanted. This is a monitor rather than a television and requires an HDMI source such as a Fire Stick/tablet/laptop and does not have built-in speakers.

One elasticated door tie-down has pulled out of its crimp. The elastic itself is present and this is a straightforward minor DIY repair.

Importantly, the side-lift jack mounting points remain fully usable despite the 4WD motor mover installation. This is particularly useful on a twin axle as the jack makes aligning and fitting the AL-KO wheel locks considerably easier.
