This role involves supporting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their well-being. Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments
Support medication administration in accordance with healthcare plans and protocols
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance clients’ quality of life
Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Drive clients to appointments or social activities when required
Manage behaviour effectively through patience and understanding
Respond promptly to emergencies using first aid skills when necessary
Document care provided accurately in accordance with organisational policies
Report any safe guarding concerns to appropriate lead.
Minimum 2 years care experience Enhanced DBS Knowledge of patient care techniques and caregiving best practices Familiarity with Alzheimer’s, dementia, mental health, stroke and senior care is advantageous Valid driving licence and business insurance Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach towards clients of all ages Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment This role offers an enriching opportunity for individuals committed to providing high-quality support and making a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
