Confident adult/teenager - part loan

My lovely little boy, a 13.3hh Gypsy Cob, is looking for a confident small adult or teenager to help bring him on and enjoy him as if he were your own on your allocated days.

Please don’t let his height put you off – he is a good weight carrier and takes up the leg well.

He is still relatively green in his ridden education, having only been backed two years ago. Since then, he has had a few novice riders, which has taught him that if a rider lacks confidence or experience, he can get away with napping or trying to bolt off. This is not done out of nastiness – he’s a very clever boy who has simply learned what works!

With a confident and capable rider, he is a pleasure. He walks, trots and canters nicely and is now happily popping small jumps. He can hack alone, although he still benefits from a confident rider who can encourage and support him as he continues to gain experience. We are lucky to have lovely off-road hacking around the farm.

I am currently riding him myself, but with two young children, finding enough time is becoming difficult.

We are based on a quiet, friendly yard with:

* Arena

* Excellent off-road hacking

* Farm ride access

Yard duties are included on your days, such as:

* Poo picking

* Stable duties

* Turning out/bringing in during winter

Small financial contribution required.

Ideally looking for someone for:

* Sundays

* One weekday
