I require 2-to-1 care, and the role involves supporting me with my personal care, medical needs, daily activities and outings.
The role

• Assistance with day-to-day activities
• Supporting me to access the community and attend outings
• PEG feeding
• Medication administration
• Tracheostomy care
• 24/7 ventilation
• Suctioning
• Cough assist
• Nebulisers
• Working as part of a 2-to-1 care team
• Maintaining a safe, comfortable and respectful environment
You do not need to have experience with all of the medical tasks listed above. Full training will be provided. However, you must be willing to learn, follow instructions carefully and become confident in carrying out these tasks safely.
Essential requirements
• Aged 25 or over
• A full, clean UK driving licence
• Preferably previous experience working in care or a similar support role
• Comfortable providing personal care
• Willing and able to undertake training in complex care and medical procedures
• Able to work as part of a 2-to-1 team
• Good communication skills
• Able to follow care plans and instructions accurately
• Respectful of privacy, dignity and personal choice

Hours & pay
Pay: £17 per hour
Hours: Part-time
Shift: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Location: Hastings, East Sussex
All necessary training will be provided, including training relating to the medical and respiratory care required for the role.
