Suffolk Paddle Board Lessons and Hire

I had a three hour private lesson with James on the beautiful private lake at West Stow. James is respectful, courteous, good natured and a genuinely nice guy. The lesson was first class. I've had lessons elsewhere, but James' tuition was far more comprehensive, covering useful techniques at a good pace. The lake is beautiful (blue dragonflies darting around), and has natural features such as low hanging branches or roots in the water, which make it an excellent location for practising techniques for real obstacles one may encounter on a river. James gave brilliant tips and advice about kit such as dry bags or phone cases, as well as recommending shops, websites and groups that meet locally. I went out the next day to buy accessories and have already been out paddling on a quiet river on the Norfolk Broads. I felt super confident and excited with all the tips I had learned from James. Highly recommended!

Have wanted to try paddle boarding for a while and finally booked an introduction session with James. He is a calm, thorough, safe and knowledgeable instructor and I had a brilliant morning out on the board in the sun - what a lovely setting 😊. Can’t wait for more chances to do this again. Definitely recommend.
