Update: I have now received my full payment. I was not asked to update my review in any way, just doing this for your information and to be fair. I got a personal message of apology that shows concern and some effort to tackle the issue of significantly delayed payments and the lack of transparency around it. I wish them good luck on that and, I hope that the improvements will be visible to freelancers soon.
Unfortunately, this company is terrible when it comes to paying people for their effort and time.
I have received multiple, almost identical replies, in August and September, regarding delayed payments for work I completed in April.
The new trendy answer is that "they are working on getting the outstanding payment cleared as quickly as possible but are waiting on our factor pulling through to make this possible."
My latest email was completely ignored, while the communication with @accounts, if any, is completely impersonal and slow.
This has been the situation all those years that I, occasionally, took over projects for them as a freelancer.
How funny that they take the time to pretentiously answer those reviews/emails with "how disheartened" they are about the negative experience and "how deeply" they regret the inconvenience and frustration that caused you",
and they had not really taken the time to address the actual problem all those years: failing to pay the people for their work!
I do not need more responses like this and I have contacted accounts multiple times ;)
TO SUM UP, the time you are going to waste in begging them for your payment, including the stress and frustration, will worth much more than the payment itself.
Everyone deserves better, right?
