Counselling focuses on listening to you as a client and to enable you to talk about a difficulty and then to explore a way forward. The client will set the agenda and talk about whatever is troubling them in a warm, non-judgemental, accepting environment and the sessions are a way of creating space in your life to attend to various life related issues.
I understand that to consider going to counselling can be a really big decision, so I hope that I can provide enough information for you so that contacting me is a little easier. We all aim to get through life without encountering any difficulties and talking things through with family and friends can be really useful. However, there are times when it can be helpful to talk to an impartial empathetic professional in privacy and independent of your circumstances.
I provide a confidential, safe and empathic environment where personal emotional struggles can be explored and more insight gained. I do not give advice, but I am an impartial and trained professional who is able to listen to you in a non-judgemental way and to work with you and to help you to develop a better understanding of yourself.
