Excellent! When trying to book a taxi with an hours notice, 5 companies either let my call ring out (in the middle of the day) or could not accommodate, but Dunfermline City Taxis were very helpful, punctual, and friendly when riding with them. Couldn't recommend enough- thank you to my driver!

I booked a taxi to Edinburgh airport and asked the rough price (roughly 50). When we got to the airport the taxi driver said it would be an additional £6.50 if I wanted to be dropped at the actual airport otherwise I'd need to walk from a further out point. I'm pregnant and my bag was heavy. If they'd told me this upfront I might have just caught the bus which would have included the same amount of walking. I spoke to airport staff at the taxi rank and they said the taxi drivers should pay the fee from their fare/profit and it is not normal procedure to ask the client to pay an additional fee.
