About our business
Chauhans was established in 1952 in Kenya, Africa, by Mrs. P Chauhan, the grandmother of the current owner. In the 1960s, she relocated to Leicester, UK, bringing her business along, which rapidly expanded as she operated from home and found joy in her work. The arrival of her grandson, Mr. P Chauhan, in 1987 brought her immense happiness, as she looked forward to sharing her knowledge with him. After Mrs. Chauhan's passing in 2017, Mr. Chauhan took over the family business, honoring his grandmother by naming it Chauhans. Having learned the craft by observing her, he now possesses the expertise to manage a diverse range of garments.
