About our business
Established in 1984 by Stanley Smith and Matt Smith, Shoes For Crews had its humble beginnings in the family apartment where a small collection of footwear for nurses was crafted. The turning point came when a contact highlighted the necessity for non slip shoes that could provide traction on slippery restaurant floors. Seizing this opportunity, the Smith family collaborated with a rubber technology professor to pioneer the first line of slip-resistant footwear.
