Made a reservation here for dinner, the menu was explained very clearly that it was tapas style dishes and 2-4 dishes per person was recommended, it was explained that the dishes are served as an when they are ready.
I thoroughly enjoyed the seared scallops, great flavour and cooked perfectly. The beef & marrow was to die for it was packed full of flavour and very moreish. I was not a fan of the chips, they were piping hot but quite hard and I wish I had ordered something else in their place. I also didn't enjoy the creme brulé, it lacked flavour but again could be personal preference.
Service upon arrival was great, I'm not sure if most of the staff were doing work experience as they were all very young, every person I interacted with was polite and professional. A true credit to the restaurant. I had asked for some recommendations and was told the most popular dishes that people ordered which was great.
My major issue was how long it actually took to manage to get someone to give me my bill at the end of the meal, I'm not sure if it's where I was seated as the person next to me also had this issue when waiting for the card machine. I had sat for possibly half an hour until I managed to grab someone's attention from across the room, not entirely a huge issue but it took longer than it should have. I also had this issue when waiting to order a dessert and another drink, overall waiting much longer than I anticipated. Although I am aware most staff were busy clearing tables and I'm not one to want to wave across a restaurant to gain someone's attention.
Overall I enjoyed my visit, my bill for one person came out as £75 which was 4 food items and 2 glasses of wine alongside a 10% discretionary charge, it was more than I was expecting to spend but I did enjoy 2 of the 4 dishes I ordered.
