We were going to the seafood hut but they only had 3 items left so we went to this restaurant instead. We were so glad of this plot twist! So they changed their menu. Now everything is small plate instead of anything you see on the Google reviews. The only big plate now is the fish and chips. But I have to say, we loved it! All food was prepared to perfection. Service was incredible. They explained the menu well so we were very well informed what we will be getting. The food came fast so you can finish one dish before deciding if you want another. They came to check on us every little while to make sure we are happy. Really recommended it.

We loved the fish and chips here - simply delicious! However, the portions are pretty small, so ordering a couple of items to share is definitely a good idea if you want to leave full. The views are absolutely lovely, but it can be quite hard to get a window seat. We asked for a window seat, but wasn’t assigned one. I highly recommend making reservations early if you want to secure a table because it fills up fast. Fortunately, the turnaround didn’t seem too bad when we went in mid-May, but booking ahead is still your best bet. Overall, it is a fantastic spot for great food and beautiful scenery, just remember to order a few different things for the table!

Genuinely, wow! Apart from their fish and chips meal the dishes are all tapas size. We had 2 plates and a side from their lunch and early dinner menu which was £25 each and good value. There was more than enough for the two of us. The standard was as high as the top UK restaurants. I highly recommend the chowder, salmon wrapped asparagus, sourdough with smoked mussel butter, mussles and brandade scotch egg. I can't praise the food high enough. The staff were great and service excellent. No negatives.

Made a reservation here for dinner, the menu was explained very clearly that it was tapas style dishes and 2-4 dishes per person was recommended, it was explained that the dishes are served as an when they are ready. I thoroughly enjoyed the seared scallops, great flavour and cooked perfectly. The beef & marrow was to die for it was packed full of flavour and very moreish. I was not a fan of the chips, they were piping hot but quite hard and I wish I had ordered something else in their place. I also didn't enjoy the creme brulé, it lacked flavour but again could be personal preference. Service upon arrival was great, I'm not sure if most of the staff were doing work experience as they were all very young, every person I interacted with was polite and professional. A true credit to the restaurant. I had asked for some recommendations and was told the most popular dishes that people ordered which was great. My major issue was how long it actually took to manage to get someone to give me my bill at the end of the meal, I'm not sure if it's where I was seated as the person next to me also had this issue when waiting for the card machine. I had sat for possibly half an hour until I managed to grab someone's attention from across the room, not entirely a huge issue but it took longer than it should have. I also had this issue when waiting to order a dessert and another drink, overall waiting much longer than I anticipated. Although I am aware most staff were busy clearing tables and I'm not one to want to wave across a restaurant to gain someone's attention. Overall I enjoyed my visit, my bill for one person came out as £75 which was 4 food items and 2 glasses of wine alongside a 10% discretionary charge, it was more than I was expecting to spend but I did enjoy 2 of the 4 dishes I ordered.

Scallops and black pudding was a great dish full of flavor and perfectly prepared. Dynamite shrimp was terrific. Raw oysters were ok but over priced. Service was nothing special. Definitely recommend based on the dishes and preparation.
