Woodside Hall Nursing Home

I visited many care homes and wasn’t really impressed until I came to Woodside I was surprised how welcoming the home is the staff, nursing & management was on first visit. we arranged for our mother to go in on Restbite for a while to see how she adapted to it and to our surprise she settled in really well. She is now a resident seven months later and can’t believe how much she has changed she is so happy loves all the entertainment that goes on all the time and loves all the staff around her. We can’t thank Woodside enough for looking after our mum who means the world to us.

My mother has recently spent a few weeks of respite care in Woodside Hall. The level of care she received was of the highest standard and she went home fully recharged. The staff are all very friendly and there were a good range of activities that she could participate in as well as excellent food. Although she is not ready to leave her home yet, she is happy knowing that Woodside Hall is somewhere she can go when she needs to.

My wife Mary was in this home for the last six months of her life. She suffered from Parkinson’s and dementia with its problems.I found the staff very caring and attentive. The nursing staff kept abreast of her medication and managed to get my wife seen by the doctor as and when it was necessary, something I feel I would have had trouble with had she been at home The premises are kept spotlessly clean and had a nice atmosphere. Obviously to the party it is not like home but as a carer it seemed to to be the next best thing! Norman Veit

My mother lived at Woodside hall for four years. We were very happy with her care. The staff took her individual needs into consideration and were attentive,and she felt safe.The room was clean and pleasant.The home provided a host of activities during the year.The clients and families were also encouraged to voice any concerns they may have had at regular meetings with staff.I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Whenever I visit Woodside Hall I receive a warm welcome. The home is always clean and well presented and the staff balance professionalism with a kind and caring attitude. It is always a pleasure to see Sharon, her team and the residents.
