At Beech Hurst we provide specialist care together with a warm welcome in a lovely part of town.
Located just outside Haywards Heath in West Sussex, Beech Hurst offers personalised nursing care. Our team has specialist expertise in supporting individuals who have Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
We take a person-centred approach to care at Beech Hurst – we look beyond the condition by getting to know the individual and understanding every aspect of their life. We aim to go the extra mile to make sure each resident has enjoyable and fulfilling experiences every day.
We have two activities co-ordinators who take residents out to local garden centres and shops, and to nearby attractions such as Brighton Pier. They make sure everyone gets the most out of their day.
Every member of our team is committed to continual learning and development, to make sure that we always provide the best possible care.

We’re caring for more than 7,000 people in over 100 care homes.
Care UK’s care home business, Residential Care Services (RCS), started life over three decades ago. Today we’re one of the leading providers of residential care in the UK, with care homes and day clubs up and down the country and more opening every few months.
Respect, dignity and meaning
Our teams provide expert residential, nursing, dementia, respite, palliative and end-of-life care in modern, spacious and comfortable surroundings. Our people are dedicated to treating each resident with dignity and respect at all times and supporting them to live as independent and fulfilling a life as possible. Our commitment to activity based care means that residents are encouraged to continue to do the activities and hobbies that they’ve always enjoyed, as well as to help out with little tasks around the home if it helps them to feel useful and valued.
When a new resident joins us, we work with them and their family to understand their personality, preferences and background so that we can create care and support plans that fit around their unique needs. No two Care UK care home residents are the same, so no two packages of care will be entirely alike. We take the same person-centred approach to caring for residents and day club members who are living with dementia, helping to make each day as special as possible for them.
