I’ve been attending the London Piano Institute for about a year now. Really wish I’d found this organisation years ago, however, I’m at it now and really enjoying piano lessons. Because I do shift work I needed flexibility with lessons and the LPI does this for me for which I’m grateful. My tutor Naomi is very talented. I’m a mature student, but made to feel confidence in my pursuit of mastering the piano. She is a great tutor and knows her stuff! Hoping for many more lessons to come.

Excellent piano lessons provided by a very passionate and expert piano teacher. She is thorough and methodical in her approach to teaching, and this is allowing me to make good progress on a weekly basis. I’m always inspired after each lesson to go away and practise what she has taught us in the group.
She is also patient with us, and deals with our queries and challenges in an engaged and helpful way. I’m enjoying the lessons, and I’m very happy to have made the move to learn to play this instrument at this stage in my life!

I’ve had the pleasure of learning both singing and piano with Kallen, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. She has a rare ability to break down complex musical concepts into their core principles, making everything so much easier to understand and apply.

I started as a complete beginner and have been learning piano for about 5 months. I already feel that I have made a lot of progress and the teacher I was assigned to is very good at explaining the techniques and theory, also advising best learning practice and recommending books that will help me get better. I also appreciate the patience and encouragement. I am generally very happy with the lessons, though if I was to make one small suggestion it would be to improve the acoustic properties within the rooms as the sound carries quite a bit through the walls which tend to be a bit distracting.

I’ve been learning with Kallen for over five months now, and I’ve really enjoyed it! She’s super patient and passionate, and her teaching has helped me improve a lot, especially with my techniques and understanding of theory.
I love how she encourages me to play with my mind and even sing while playing—it’s such a unique and helpful approach. Even though I’m super busy with work, I always make sure I don’t miss a lesson because I really enjoy playing piano. She also helped me with setting longer-term goals, which made me feel more accomplished along the way.
Overall, Kallen is amazing, and I’m excited to keep learning with her!
