I initially saw Marek after suffering a sporting injury to my right bicep, elbow and shoulder. He was referred to me by my chiropractor as I was keen to get an ultrasound as quickly as possible. Marek offered me a next day appointment and spent an hour conducting a full and thorough ultrasound of the soft tissue and joints in the affected areas. He was very reassuring and professional, taking his time to explain everything clearly and making sure I understood what he diagnosed. I left feeling much happier and with a clear understanding of what I needed to do to recover. A second follow up appointment built on the first, more reassurance and new exercises to help build up strength and confidence. Overall I would highly recommend Marek. Excellent experience with Marek at Physio-Soton. I came in with a long-running Achilles problem and he took a proper history, reviewed my training, tested the tendon thoroughly with Ultrasound — diagnosis, imaging and a clear rehab advice all in one visit. He was honest about what the findings meant for my running rather than telling me what I wanted to hear, and explained everything in plain terms. As a triathlete it's rare to find a physio who is also an MSK sonographer and genuinely understands training load. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service and treatment from Marek. He took time to listen to my shoulder issues and then performed an ultrasound to ascertain treatment options. Marek then performed an ultrasound guided steroid injection. I also discussed another sporting issue which he was happy to give his advice and opinion on how to deal with it. All in great service.

Extremely happy and impressed. For context, I am a 21 year old male who contacted Marek due to acromioclavicular joint issues due to weightlifting. He was able to book me in a few days from my phone call with him. All my questions were answered in a detailed and informative manner, and the aftercare was great as he phoned me later in the day after reviewing my ultrasound images. The most important thing to note is his moral integrity which I was so surprised with due to how many people are today. Because of my issue I thought I would need a joint injection, however he said for my case this would be unnecessary and potentially delay healing. This is surprising as many practitioners these days would advise having the injection merely to make a buck off of me. I really respect this honesty and truthfulness. Thanks very much.
