Hi, my name is John and I live in Eastbourne. I run I Take The Lead: a dog walking company for Eastbourne and the surrounding area. Like many of my customers, I have been a dog owner throughout my childhood and adult life (plus other animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, and an aviary). I also spent several years on a farm in Berkshire, working with cows, pigs, and other farmyard animals and crops. Due to spending my entire life surrounded by dogs, many other creatures, and the outdoors, I am confident and experienced in regard to their needs, care, and behaviour.I believe in getting to know your dog so that I can anticipate their individual needs and see whether they should be walked on their own, or with dogs they will be compatible with. I am an experienced walker and hiker; I have walked trails including the Camino de Santiago. As a result of my interest in walking, I am very familiar with Eastbourne and the surrounding area. Due to my local knowledge of the environs, I will know where the best walks will be for your dog.
