The Patio Black Spots on your garden stone/patios are actually black Lichen, which feed off the minerals within the stone. Once the Lichen has exhausted all minerals from an area of the stone they grow not only across stone but also down into the stone so effectively rooting themselves and making it almost impossible to remove with other products or power washing alone, whilst growing 2mm a year and becoming more and more unsightly. Our product, Patio Black Spot Remover, will penetrate deep into the pores of the stone killing the lichen from the root up. Not only will the Patio Black Spot Remover remove these Black Spots, but it will also restore your stone bringing back the vibrant colours it once had. Whilst Lichen and Algae spores are constantly landing on your stonework our product also prevents regrowth for up to one year from the point of treatment, after which time you should use our Patio Black Spot Preventer which kills any spores that land on the surface preventing re-infestation and ‘The Return Of The Black Spot’ when used annually. This is simply spray and leave so power washing year in year out becomes a thing of the past!
