Pick from the finest Christmas trees in Sussex
At Sussex Christmas Trees we sell real, homegrown Christmas Trees from two locations in the county. Our long-established Northdown Plantation at Five Ashes, East Sussex, and our family farm at Goddenwick Farm in West Sussex. Together they are home to around 120,000 trees.

We believe that choosing a tree is one of the key events of the Christmas holiday, so we aim to make the experience as festive as possible.

Our locations are within easy reach of Brighton, Crawley, Uckfield, Haywards Heath, Tunbridge Wells, Lewes, Burgess Hill, Eastbourne and Crowborough.

Amazing day out. Really friendly and helpful staff who were clearly wanting to help us get the best out of our visit. The Egyptian street food was great and the goats very cute. There is a short walk to the field were the cut-your-own trees were. The walk felt longer on the way back with our beautiful 7ft tree. There were plenty of cut trees for those not wanting to get stuck in. Thanks for a great day out, we will be back next year. Special mention to the lady dressed as a Christmas tree who welcomed us!

Brilliant service and excellent Christmas trees. Had one delivered for the first time this year so was nervous if it would be what I’d pick - it was perfect. The Sussex Fir is perfect choice and smells great!

I visited two days ago, having never been before. I'd already decided to go for a pick your own Nordman Fir before I'd even arrived. Wow - what a selection! Incredible. Thousands of trees of many varieties. (Price list in my pics). BRING WELLIES!! Or waterproof boots with a grip. It was extremely muddy when I went, especially when you have to carry your tree back. To get to the trees, you walk through a lovely fairylight lit woodland... it is quite far if walking is challenging for you, but it is completely worth it. Before you go to cut your own, there's a selection of saws which you can just help yourself to. Also, find the colour coded pole - this is for pricing your tree as you pay per foot. It's handy to know in advance just so you aren't surprised. Pricing was fair, too. And it's the joy of choosing and sawing off your own . The little Christmas shop was open, which was nice. And there were goats, sheep, and a reindeer to go and see. More available during the weekends, cafe, mulled wine, and Santa. Definitely recommend. Enjoy, make an afternoon of it!

Warm welcome and all helpful information when we arrived. You can borrow a saw if cutting your own tree. There is a Christmas trail through the woods which leads to the cut your own fields so is a bit of a distance to drag back (very wet and muddy to be expected). We have been to a lot of places for Christmas trees over the years and the selection of pre cut and cut your own is vast and reasonably priced. There are some animals to see, with food trucks, small cafe in the barn and a Christmas shop. Would visit again.

We LOVED visiting Sussex Trees in December and only wish we had found them sooner! The children loved the reindeer, the donkeys and the goats, and loved writing and sending letters to Santa! We will definitely be back next year (probably every weekend in December!)
